Xiaojuan is a Chinese graphic designer and illustrator. After graduating from the Royal College of Art, she joined The Economist as a Junior Designer in 2021, designing contents for both the weekly print editions and digital channels, commissioning original illustrations for articles, and collaborating on design projects across various disciplines.

Magnetic Meta is a brand I founded as a passion project, which combines my love of geo-guessing on Google Maps and collecting fridge magnets for my travels. I designed and illustrated a collection of metal enamel fridge magnets in six unique styles--each one offering a clue tied to a specific region or country. These magnets are available through my online store under my alias Pyjama Shark, created to connect with like-minded geo-location enthusiasts around the world.
